How to convert

1. Add WebP images
Drop files, drop a folder, paste, or use Choose files. Each item is checked locally so a JPEG dropped here is reported instead of being silently skipped.

2. Resize if you need to
PNG output ignores the JPEG quality slider. Set a max edge or a percent when the PNG would otherwise be huge. Transparency is kept.

3. Save
Download the PNG, or Download all for a ZIP. Cancel stops a worker and Retry runs that file again with the current options.
Questions
Does the PNG keep WebP transparency?
Yes. JPG would flatten it. If you change the format option to JPG, the background color is used for the transparent pixels.
Are the images uploaded?
No. There is no conversion API on this site. The worker reads the bytes you already have and writes a new file in memory for you to download.
Why convert WebP to PNG at all?
Some design tools, office apps, and older viewers still mishandle WebP. PNG is the predictable interchange format when you need transparency and you are not trying to win a filesize contest.
Will this shrink the file?
Usually not. PNG of a photo is often larger than WebP. This page is a format change. The image compressor is the page to use when the goal is a smaller file.
What does Strip GPS do for a WebP that has no location?
Nothing visible. The badge Location data found appears only when GPS tags are present. Strip all still drops other metadata we would otherwise copy into a PNG.
Can I use this offline?
After the production site has been opened once, a service worker caches the pages. WebP conversion uses the browser's own decoder, so it does not need the HEIC wasm file.
